Are you planning on covering the 2009 US Chess Championship at all?
I found out the chess club that’s hosting it is offering all of the games live on their site through PGN’s.

I’m a little bit ambivalent about covering the US championship, for two reasons. One is that I prefer to write about events that I can attend live. The second reason is that the U.S. championship games will be closely scrutinized by lots of people who are better than I am — so it will be hard for me to say something of value that you can’t find on other blogs or websites.
But in spite of that, I definitely reserve the right to comment on any games that particularly excite me! So we’ll see.

Any player who scores a 9-0 sweep will be awarded the Fischer Memorial Prize, a $64,000 bonus in addition to the first-place award….exciting stuff
